About this collection

Hand-crafted daily in Los Angeles

Flowers Safe for Dogs: 16 designs from $79 with same-day delivery across Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire and Ventura County. Order by 4:30 PM and the florists at our Downtown LA or Newbury Park studio arrange it the same day, text you a photo before it leaves, and deliver between 12 and 8 PM. Popular picks: Tamara, Nella, Flowers & Macarons.

This collection is for homes where the dog investigates anything new on the coffee table. Every design here is built from flowers the ASPCA lists as non-toxic to dogs, including roses, orchids, sunflowers, gerbera daisies, snapdragons, freesia, alstroemeria, stock, statice, celosia and zinnias, and leaves out the common culprits: lilies, tulips, hydrangea, daffodils, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus and baby's breath, which is mildly toxic. Arrangements are made to order in our Downtown LA studio on the day of delivery and delivered across Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire; order by 4:30 PM for same-day delivery, and we text you a photo before the flowers leave.

Prices start at $79, with several sizes available. Tamara, Nella and Sunshine are the most ordered pet-safe bouquets; Flowers in a Box is the choice if you would rather skip the vase; Flowers & Macarons adds a treat box for the humans. Even non-toxic flowers can cause an upset stomach if a curious dog chews the stems or drinks the vase water, so place the arrangement out of reach. For cat households, see flowers safe for cats; for more of the safe varieties, browse sunflowers and orchids.

What flowers are safe for dogs?

Roses, orchids, sunflowers, gerbera daisies, snapdragons, freesia, alstroemeria, stock, statice, celosia and zinnias are all listed as non-toxic to dogs by the ASPCA, and they are the building blocks of every arrangement in this collection. Non-toxic does not mean edible: chewing stems or leaves can still upset a dog's stomach, so keep flowers out of reach.

What flowers are toxic to dogs?

The ones we leave out of this collection: lilies, tulips, hydrangea, daffodils, chrysanthemums and eucalyptus, plus baby's breath, which is mildly toxic. Bulbs are the most dangerous part of tulips and daffodils. If your dog has eaten any of these, contact your veterinarian or an animal poison control line right away.

Is it safe to keep dried flowers around dogs and cats?

Not automatically. Drying does not remove the compounds that make a flower toxic, so dried lilies, hydrangea or eucalyptus carry the same risk as fresh ones, and brittle dried stems can splinter and cause choking or stomach irritation if chewed. If you keep dried flowers, choose non-toxic varieties and place them where pets cannot reach.

Can I get flowers that are safe for both cats and dogs?

Yes. Every flower used in this collection is non-toxic to both dogs and cats. Because cats are far more sensitive to lilies and tend to climb, we keep a separate flowers safe for cats collection with placement advice; both collections avoid lilies, tulips, hydrangea, daffodils, chrysanthemums, eucalyptus and baby's breath.

Do you deliver pet-safe flowers the same day in Los Angeles?

Yes. Order by 4:30 PM and the arrangement is designed and delivered the same day, seven days a week, across LA County, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Delivery is calculated by address at checkout, typically $20 to $35, or pick up free at our Downtown LA studio on E 8th St.

Do you send a photo of the arrangement before delivery?

Yes. We text the purchaser a photo of the finished arrangement before it leaves the studio so you can check the flowers are the ones you expected, then send real-time courier tracking. If the flowers are a gift for a dog owner, the photo comes to you, not to them.

Is it safe for pets if I add macarons or other extras?

The add-ons are for people. Macarons, chocolates and other treats should be kept out of reach, and chocolate in particular is toxic to dogs. Balloons and the teddy bear are also best kept away from chewers. The hand-written card message is free and comes tucked into the arrangement.

How long will these flowers last, and what if a stem is unavailable?

Five to seven days for most bouquets: trim the stems, use clean water, change it every two days and keep the arrangement cool and out of direct sun. Pick up dropped petals promptly so they do not become a snack. If a stem is unavailable we substitute at equal or greater value in the same palette and keep to non-toxic varieties.
