About this collection

Apology Flowers in Los Angeles

Apology flowers are for the moments when a text will not do: a missed dinner, a sharp word, a birthday you let slip. This collection gathers the arrangements our florists reach for when the message is sorry — warm, generous and clearly chosen rather than grabbed on the way home. Each piece is designed the day it goes out at our Downtown LA studio, and we text you a photo of the finished arrangement before the courier leaves. Order by 4:30 PM for same-day delivery across Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Choosing is simpler than it feels. Catherine and Elsie are the most-ordered designs here; My Heart and Heart Box carry more weight for a serious apology; Sunshine keeps it light when you are making up with a friend or colleague. Prices start from $69, and most designs fall between $89 and $189; if roses are their favorite, the roses collection has more options. Keep the card short and specific — name what happened, say sorry once, skip the excuses. The message is hand-written and free.

Good to know

  • Same-day cutoff is 4:30 PM; later orders go out the next day, between 12 PM and 8 PM.
  • Delivery fee is calculated by address at checkout, typically $20–$35; pickup at the studio is free.
  • If a stem is unavailable, we substitute with equal or greater value in the same palette; the photo shows you the result first.
  • For a partner, see love and romance flowers; when the sorry comes with gratitude, thank-you flowers.

Questions, answered

Apology Flowers: frequently asked questions

What flowers say I am sorry?

Soft, warm palettes work best: pink and peach roses, white lilies, hydrangea and garden-style mixes read as sincere rather than showy. Red roses suit a romantic apology; yellow and orange tones fit a friend or colleague. Whatever the color, choose a fuller bouquet or box — a small posy can look like an afterthought, which is the one thing an apology cannot afford.

What should I write on an apology card?

Keep it short, specific and unqualified: name what happened, say sorry once, and say what you will do differently. Leave out the word but and any explanation of why it was not really your fault. Two or three sentences is plenty; the flowers do the rest. Add the message at checkout and we hand-write it on a card tucked into the arrangement, free of charge.

Can I send apology flowers anonymously?

Not entirely. We need the purchaser's name and phone number on every order so we can text you the pre-delivery photo and reach you if the courier has a question. The card, however, can be left unsigned or signed with initials only, and the courier hands over the flowers and the card, nothing else.

Do you offer same-day apology flower delivery in Los Angeles?

Yes. Order by 4:30 PM and the arrangement is designed, photographed and delivered the same day, seven days a week, across Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Standard delivery runs between 12 PM and 8 PM; if timing matters, a guaranteed window can be added at checkout as a paid Exact Delivery Time option.

Will I see the arrangement before it is delivered?

Yes. Once the florist finishes your piece we text a photo of the actual arrangement to you, the purchaser, before the courier leaves the studio, and you then receive real-time tracking. The recipient never sees the photo, so if the apology is meant to be a surprise, it stays one.

How much does delivery cost?

The fee is calculated at checkout by address and is typically $20–$35 within our Los Angeles delivery area. If you would rather hand the flowers over yourself, pickup at our Downtown LA studio at 315 E 8th St, Ste 102 is free; the studio is open 9 AM–5 PM every day of the week.

When is the best time to send apology flowers?

As soon as you have cooled off enough to mean it — usually the same day or the next morning. Waiting a week makes the gesture feel like damage control. If the person is at work, an office delivery is fine and often appreciated; if the situation is delicate, a home delivery later in the day is more private.

What if a flower in the arrangement is unavailable?

We substitute with a stem of equal or greater value in the same palette and style, keeping the design intent, and you see the finished result in the pre-delivery photo. Fresh flowers cannot be returned after delivery, but any quality issue reported within 24 hours with a photo gets a remake, replacement or refund.
