✦ Use a clean vase with fresh, room-temperature water
✦ Change water every 2 days and re-trim stems
✦ Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts
✦ Avoid placing near fruit (ethylene gas shortens flower life)

Yes — place them in a vase with water as soon as possible after delivery. Remove the wrapping and any leaves that fall below the waterline to prevent bacteria buildup.
