El Rio florist: same-day flower delivery
El Rio is a small, largely residential town on the northeast side of the 101 Freeway from Oxnard, south of the Santa Clara River. It was founded in 1875 as New Jerusalem, gained a school and Santa Clara Catholic Church in 1885, and took the name El Rio around 1900, near where the coastal railroad line crosses the river. Vineyard Avenue is its central business district; the Ventura Freeway separates the community from the newer commercial development on the other side, and parts of the historic town have since been annexed to Oxnard. Every El Rio arrangement is designed on the day of delivery at our own studio in Newbury Park.

We text the purchaser a photo of the finished arrangement before the courier leaves.
