About this collection
Orchid Arrangements in Los Angeles
An orchid is the gift that stays: a potted phalaenopsis or an orchid composition holds its bloom for weeks rather than days, with sculptural lines and almost no daily upkeep. We deliver them across Los Angeles County, and to Orange County and the Inland Empire from the same Downtown LA studio, with same-day delivery for orders placed by 4:30 PM. Each plant is potted and dressed the day it ships, and a photo of the finished piece reaches you before it leaves the studio.
The collection is deliberately small. Tropical Orchid and White Orchid Tropical are the classic picks, Golden Orchid adds a warmer tone, and the Blush & Orchid Pedestal Set is the option for a larger display. Prices start from $179. For orchid bouquets, boxes and leis at other price points, see same-day orchid delivery; for other long-lived green gifts, browse plants.
Care, honestly
- Bright, indirect light and a light watering about once a week; let the pot drain and keep it away from vents and direct sun.
- Same-day delivery when you order by 4:30 PM; the fee is set by address at checkout, typically $20–$35.
- A hand-written card is included at no extra cost.
- If a particular orchid color is out that day, we substitute equal or greater value in a matching palette, and the photo shows you the result first.
Questions, answered
Orchid Arrangements: frequently asked questions
What does an orchid symbolize?
Orchids traditionally stand for love, luxury, beauty and strength. In ancient Greece they were linked to fertility, and in Chinese tradition they represent refinement and integrity. Today they are a favorite for congratulations, thank-yous and new homes because the plant keeps blooming long after cut flowers fade.
What does a yellow orchid mean?
Yellow orchids are associated with friendship, joy and new beginnings, which makes them a good fit for a new job, a housewarming or a thank-you. White orchids suggest purity and elegance, pink orchids grace and femininity, and purple orchids admiration and respect.
How long do orchids bloom?
A healthy phalaenopsis stays in bloom for two to three months with minimal care, far longer than a cut bouquet. After the flowers drop, the plant rests and often reblooms within a year if it stays in bright, indirect light.
How do I care for an orchid plant?
Bright, indirect light and a light watering about once a week; let the water drain and never leave the roots sitting in it. Avoid direct sun, heating vents and cold drafts. That is the whole routine, and orchids do better with a little neglect than with too much attention.
Do you deliver orchids same-day in Los Angeles?
Yes. Order by 4:30 PM and the orchid is prepared, photographed and delivered the same day across LA County, Orange County and the Inland Empire, seven days a week. Delivery is calculated by address at checkout, typically $20–$35, and studio pickup is free.
Do I see the orchid before it is delivered?
Always. When the florist finishes potting and dressing your orchid, we text you a photo before it leaves the studio, so there are no stock-image surprises. Tracking follows once the courier is en route.
Can I send an orchid to a hospital room or an office?
Yes; they are one of the easiest gifts to keep in either place because they need little water and no vase changes. Hospital deliveries go to the nurses' station or front desk, and some ICUs do not allow plants, so check the unit's policy first. Offices receive them at reception.
Can I add a card or a gift with the orchid?
A hand-written card message is included free; add it at checkout. Macarons, chocolates, a teddy bear or balloons can be added to the order. Champagne is not offered in Los Angeles, only from our San Francisco and Honolulu studios.
