About this collection

Birthday Flowers Delivery in Los Angeles

Birthday flowers should arrive on the day, look like the picture and feel personal, so every arrangement in this collection is made to order in our Downtown Los Angeles studio on the day of delivery and driven out by our courier across LA County, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Order by 4:30 PM for same-day delivery, seven days a week. As soon as the florist finishes, we text you a photo of the actual arrangement, and you can follow the courier in real time to the recipient's home, office or restaurant table.

Prices start at $69, with most designs available in several sizes. My Heart, Heart Box and Lucie are the most ordered birthday pieces, followed by Miss Dior, Elsie and Alexandra. If you are unsure about color, bright yellows and oranges read as cheerful, pinks as affectionate, and a mixed bouquet works for nearly anyone. For a design that stands on its own, choose from our flower boxes; for a bigger statement, rose bouquets and boxes run from 12 to 250 stems. Add macarons, chocolates, a teddy bear or balloons at checkout so the whole gift arrives in one delivery.

Questions, answered

Birthday Flowers Delivery: frequently asked questions

Do you offer same-day birthday flower delivery in Los Angeles?

Yes. Order by 4:30 PM and the arrangement is designed, photographed and delivered the same day, seven days a week, across LA County, Orange County and the Inland Empire. The standard window is 12 PM to 8 PM; if the party starts earlier, add the paid Exact Delivery Time option for a guaranteed slot such as 9 to 12.

What flowers should I send for a birthday?

Anything bright and generous works: a mixed bouquet with roses and seasonal stems, sunflowers for an upbeat mood, or a flower box with balloons for a party feel. For a partner, roses in their favorite color; for a colleague, a compact box arrangement that sits well on a desk. A hand-written card makes it personal.

What color flowers are best for a birthday?

Yellow and orange are the traditional birthday colors because they read as joyful; pink suggests affection and suits friends and family; red is usually reserved for a romantic partner; white and green feel calm and modern. If you do not know the person's taste, a multicolor bouquet is the safe, cheerful choice.

What is the birth-month flower for each month?

January carnation, February violet or primrose, March daffodil, April daisy or sweet pea, May lily of the valley or hawthorn, June rose, July larkspur or water lily, August gladiolus or poppy, September aster or morning glory, October marigold or cosmos, November chrysanthemum, December narcissus or holly. Mention the month at checkout and we can echo its colors where the season allows.

Can you deliver birthday flowers to an office or restaurant?

Yes. We deliver to offices, restaurants, hotels and other venues across Los Angeles. Include the business name, floor or suite and the recipient's phone number at checkout; for a restaurant, add the reservation name and time so the staff know where the flowers belong. Hotel deliveries go to the front desk.

Can I see the birthday arrangement before it goes out?

Yes. After our florist finishes, we text you a photo of the actual arrangement before it leaves the studio, followed by real-time courier tracking. The photo goes only to the purchaser, so the birthday surprise stays intact for the recipient.

Can I add a gift message or extras to birthday flowers?

Yes. Your card message is hand-written by the florist at no extra cost; type it at checkout. Add-ons available in Los Angeles include macarons, chocolates, a teddy bear and balloons, all delivered together with the flowers. Champagne is offered only at our San Francisco and Honolulu studios.

How much is delivery, and can I pick up instead?

Delivery is calculated by address at checkout and is typically $20 to $35, depending on how far the address is from the studio. Free pickup is available at our Downtown LA studio, 315 E 8th St, Ste 102, open 9 AM to 5 PM daily; choose pickup at checkout.
